When teaching young children, it is well to bear in mind that they need to be able actually to take part in the lesson in some way. Children at this stage learn through their senses eg hearing, seeing and touching. Memory is linked with things to see and things to do.

Our aim, therefore, is to make the children of this young age feel a integral part of the proceedings.

Each lesson has a reading, aim of lesson, suggested approach, analysis, suggested activity, and an Aids section.
