Teachers Guide. Years 1-4 in one volume. A 232 page book contains guidance for teachers and all the 140 lessons in the four year syllabus.

Each lesson has an
"Aim of Lesson" which is a clear statement of the reason for teaching the lesson
"Background Study", a good teacher is a well prepared one. The teacher should be thoroughly familiar with not only the particular story, but its hisotrical and grographical setting.
"Teachers' Guideline: It will be seen that the teacher's guidelines do not necessarily paraphrase the story, but are intended to suggest to teachers ways of presenting it.
"Relevance to the Children's Lives" It has always been acknowledged by thoughtful teachers that Sunday School lessons should be made meaningful for today.
"Memory Verse" Many teachers will be pleased to see the "proof" verse. There is a life long value in learning by rote, whether understanding is immediate, or developes lataer.
"Prayer" In addition to the Superintendent's prayer, the class prayer is suggested as a means of instilling into the minds of the young people that they can talk to God at their own level about their own lives.
