There are four questions at the heart of the Gospel, four questions at the very core of God’s work of salvation for us all. Four questions, therefore, that we should all be able to answer:

1. Why was Jesus crucified?
2. Why was Jesus raised?
3. Why did Jesus ascend to heaven?
4. Why will Jesus return?

I think all readers will recognize the importance of these questions, but do you feel you have good Bible answers if you had to explain these issues to an inquirer? We will see as we proceed that these questions dig deep inside our hearts. Why? Because the answers are meant to provide fundamental guidance to our lives of faith in Christ.
