Study Guides place special emphasis on:

First Principles of Doctrine
Practical outcomes.

They are designed to help all those for whom Bible Study is new or difficult, and should be especially ehlpful to anyone with little background knowledge of Scriptures.

The Guides are set out to provide at an early stage an "overview" of passage of Scripture to be studied. The more detailed sections can thus be related to this summary.

Throughout the Guide, whenever individual subjects arise, these are summarized so that they will prove useful for later reference.

This text is supported by illustrations, maps and diagrams to assist an understanding of Scripture.

Finally, though most importantly, Study Guides are designed to lead to the Bible. They should be read alongside, and never instead of the Bible.

The letter of James is full of powerful, direct teaching relevant for all Bible readers of eavery age. The messae of putting the teachings into practice (being 'doers of the word and not hears only') runs through every page, reminding readings that discipleship is not theoritcial, but must be practised. With the unequlled example of his half brother, the Lord Jes, James has plenty of material to pack into his short letter.
