The Guides are set out to provide at an early stage an "overview" of passage of Scripture to be studied. The more detailed sections can thus be related to this summary.
Throughout the Guide, whenever individual subjects arise, these are summarized so that they will prove useful for later reference.
This text is supported by illustrations, maps and diagrams to assist an understanding of Scripture.
Finally, though most importantly, Study guides are designed to lead to the Bible. They should be read alongside, and never instead of the Bible.
The Letter to the Hebrews is a masterly exposition of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ as Mediator and High Priest through whom the believer can now "enter the holiest". Jesus - better than the angels, better than Moses, Aaron or Joshua, by a better covenant - has done what the Law of Moses could never achieve, reconciling us to God.
