Right in the heart of the Bible is a book full of messages from the heart. The Psalms often express the innermost feelings adn deppest hopes of their authors. As the Israelite hymn book, the book of Psalms helped men and women of old raise their hearts and voices acceptably in praise of God.
It is no different today.Many find comfort, solace, and deep contentment from contemplanting the great truths expressed in the magnificent language and ideas of the Psalmsists.
But there are many aspects of the Psalms that are not easily understood. Is there anything special about Hebrew poetry, and about the way the Psalms are constructed that can help modern readers to get even more benefit from them?
