For brethren and sisters of earlier generations, there was really only one Bible, the Authorized Kings James Version. It was only with the introduction of the Revised Standard Version in 1952 that a version existed which was widely used as an alternate to the AV. Since then versions have multiplied with the New Internation Version of 1978 emerging as the English speaking worlds most widely used new version. The book covers some very important issues regarding new translations. It is hoped that this book will make brethren and sisters more aware of the dangers of the new translations, particularly the NIV.
