Samson is often portrayed as a wayward, lustful man; his inclusion in the roll call of the faithful in Hebrews 11 being difficult to explain. This book offers a different view of Samson as Israel's God given saviour, a man of faith, who felt the frailties of of the flesh and did sin, but in other respects is presented in scripture as a type of the Lord Jesus Christ
