Review
Friendship is something that occurs in our everyday life and something that has touched us all. Often friendships can be encouraging and important to our lives, at times however, friendship can be hurtful and cause strife. S.J. Knight addresses all these aspects of friendships in her book, “Yours Faithfully”. This book is an encouraging book about friendships and how to apply Godly principles to our relationships even when we are struggling.
It is written in an easy to read, conversation-like tone, almost like you are talking to a friend. The author writes this book using nautical analogies which help the reader understand our role in friendship and the role of friend as the ‘crew’ of the ship. The book shows the importance of developing, maintaining, and nurturing friendships and how, with these friendships, our walk to the kingdom can be made easier. It also emphasizes the need for forgiveness in friendship, as we deal with the weaknesses of our current fleshly state.
This book is recommended to all women who are looking for ways to create and develop deeper and more Godly friendships in their lives.
