A controversial and expository Lecture on the True Nature of the Sacrifice of Christ

Delivered in the Temperance Hall, Birmingham England Ecclesia on Friday July 29, 1873. It was given in reply to one given in the renunciationist interest the previous evening. Illustrated with a chart. The renunciationist teach that Christ did not come in the flesh. The expounders of this error taught that Christ was not literally, "the Son of Man". The renounced this concept and hence were known as "renunciationists. The arguments put forward by Brother Roberts provides an excellent exposition on the subject of the nature and sacrifice of Christ and therefore deserves a place on our library shelves.
