Christadelphians, the Kindertransport, and the rescue from the Holocaust
The fist volume of this series describes Christadelphian beliefs and tells the sotires of ten children hwo, fleeing the Nazis, left their parents and came to live with Christadelphians via the Kindertransport.
This second volume does the same, just as with the first volme, ten such child survivors, and their families, gives their testimonies. Unlike the first volume, however, thies volume relates the stories of some survivors who did not rside with christadelphian families - living instead in the Elpis Lodge, the Birmingham Hostel sponsored by Christadelphians. Consequenctly, this second volume includes furth details and primary sources relating to the Hostel, in a ddition to recoudting these children's early experiences, escapes from Germany, and new lives in England
