A discussion of the Atonement, by John Martin.
It is fundamental to Christadelphian teaching that the Gospel message is comprehendred in two parts . . "the things pertaining to the Kindom of God and the Name of Jesus Christ". The first part is the incentive, which acts like a magnet to our faith, attracting us toward the joy that is set before us. The second part incorporates thall those principles exhibited in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord, and constitutes those moral truths, that are the condition of our entry into the Kingdom.
For the brotherhood, our pioneers established the foundations of truth upon this exalted subject. Even so, men's minds, once enlightened, have managed to "pervert the Gospel of Christ", and turn the truth into "another gospel", with "another Jesus" other than preached by the Apostles
