The story of their work for God is at times exciting and exhilarating, sometimes moving and full of compassion. Yet at all times, the account of their lives is full of instruction and exhortation for those, who, in their own smaller way, seek to be men and women of God in a society that is as corrupt and godless as was the Israel of Ahab and his successors.
