In an age that progressiely cannot tell right from wrong there is an urgen need for authority
There is a God, and it is imperative for our relationship with Him that we know His will. There is a tension between God's word and will, and our own flawed nature. The serious believer in God must therefore relegate his own natural sense of right and wrong beneath that of God as revealed in His Word. It is the author's submission that mainstream Christianity has progressively retreated on moral issues. The point now seems to have been reached where whatever a Christian feels is right has to be accepted as right, and more than this, where anyone who raises questions as to whether such behavior is contrary to God's revelation in the Bible are vigorously opposed is "unchristian"
