The Religios Connection Current Events are the materials out of which the tapestry of history is woven. Many are of no consequence to the overall scheme, whereas others present discernable

features which identify the pattern out of which the future is to be developed. This pattern in world events we call signs of the times. Any consideration of these signs inevitably involves an examination of the political and social forces at work - even though we may not be particularly interested in those politics for their own sake. Clearly, some understanding of these events is necessary if we are to be able to discern the signs of time times. But how do we know which events to give attention to? There is only one guide and that is the Bible, the Word of the living God.
