ABOUT THE CHRISTADELPHIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION
The CSSU was founded in 1907 by a small number of Ecclesias who realized the benifits of working together to provide Sunday School materials. Today the CSSU supplies nearly all the Christadelphian Sunday Schools in the UK, and in many other countires. Its aims are to help Sunday School teachers and Youth Leades by providing materials that will meet their needs and those of young people in their care, and by promoting ideas which will help each Sunday School to grow and to work more effectively.

WHAT THE CSSU DOES
1. It produces Lesson notes and Activity Books to assist in the teaching of the Gospel
2. It publishes magazines for children and young people
3. It provides other matieral both for young people and for youth leaders.

COMMITTEE

Why follow this syllabus?
The CSSU has developed its syllabus with care, believiung that it brings real benefits:
1. Children can gain from the feeling of community that comes from realising that others all over the world are thinking about the same things.
2. If schools are teaching the same lessons, itmeans that a child visiting another Sunday School can be taught the same lesson they would have learned at home.
3. In ach year there is a balance of Old and New Testament material
4. When moving from one age group to another, there will be a smooth transistion, without repeating things that they moight otherwise have learned recently
5. If a childn moves form one school to another, they will continue with what they have been doing rather than repeating some things and omitting others.
6. When schools decide to follow their own plan it is often the case that records are mislaid, and the benefits of following a lesson plan are lost.
