Those of us who have lived our lives in a society where there is no official persecution of Chritians, and hwo expect the powers that God has placed in charge of our corner of the world . . .
will safeguard our property and person, can not readily appeciate the lives of martyrs - those who have been put to death because of their faith. Although we may lay claim with the Apostle Paul that we "die daily", is that really the case in a spiritual sense?
