This series of lessons on the "Life of Jesus" is particularly aimed at presenting the wonderful attractiveness of our Lord as one whom our scholars can only respect and admire . . .
but also truly love and be proud to follow.
Jesus was no mythical figure and the story of his life is not a legendary story, nor is it a dull one. He really lived in the world of men and women, experiencing human frailty and knowing the joy and sorrow, achievements and disappointments of a mortal life. He stands out in history as the one - the only one, who knew and revealed the true purposes of life. More than that, he showed how we also can use our lives to the full and by taking him as our example, have "life abundant".
Lesson notes are intended only to be notes for the teacher's use and should not be regarded as outlines of the lessons themselves. Rather should each lesson be framed by the individual teacher in the light of personal knowledge of the capacity of the class.
