The author admits to some trepidation in attempting a work on such a subject. However, the book forms a good foundation on which to build understanding and appreciation for the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The many scripture references given invite further study.

We are not discussing, as men of science might discuss, lesser created objects whose structure is open to examination, without the presumption provide that we recognize the same God made both the objects and ourselves. We are not, either, discussing merely our own sevles with our powers and our problems, which we can do without offence if we acknowledge that all of our powers are derived from our creator, and none of our problems can be soveld without His blessing. We are discussing the Son whom the Creator Himself in His inseperable involvement in that achievement . . .
