A study of the Exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt, Exodus chapters 7-14
The narrative of events concerning the release of Israel from bondage in Egypt are the most dramatic and important ever to happen to any people in the history of the world. It is a narrative which principally involved two nations, and the two men, we see gradually evolving conflict which is deeply prophetical of the world we live and the times we live in. In Egypt we see a world immersed in deepest idolatry and materialism, secure in its own wealth and power, and completely unable to recognize that a greater power than its own was controlling its destiny and steadfastly refusing to recognize that the day of Judgement was rapidly approaching them.
